The cottage is full of character and has a warm and cosy feel. Quirky touches create an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay.

  • Bespoke architectural design

  • Less than a 10 minute walk to many beaches

  • Direct acess to the SW Coast Path

  • Central village location

  • Large South facing garden

  • Free Wi Fi

  • Wood burning stove

The open plan living space has 5 large picture windows that flood the room with light. There is a library of curious books and an old fisherman's chest full of puzzles and board games. The blackboard sliding door is a popular feature for writing poems and messages on. The 'shell' shelves, made from vintage letterpress trays, are great for showing off shells and other trinkets that your little explorers may have found on the beach.

Step out of the front door and within minutes you can find yourself on any number of pretty beaches, hiking the South West Coast Path, sampling local cuisine or just enjoying a glass of wine in the garden listening to the bird song. It is a truly magical spot in an idyllic location.

The Old Water Tower Cottage is set in the heart of the charming coastal village of Mortehoe,
